VALENTINE'S DAY - SAUDADES
Good morning!
Today without preambles, just a very special poem. Many of us have no reason to celebrate this day that is approaching, so for those who feel this way, I invite you to reflect on these words so deep and true about Saudades, a beautiful poem by Pablo Neruda.
Saudades = To miss someone
SAUDADES
Saudade is accompanied loneliness,
When love is not gone yet,
But the beloved has....
Saudade is to love a past that has not passed yet,
Is to refuse a present that hurts us,
Is not seeing the future that invite us...
Saudade is to feel something exists when it is no more....
Saudade is the hell of those who have lost,
Is the pain of those who were left behind,
It´s the taste of death of those who carry on.
Only one person wants to feel saudade:
the one that never loved.
This is the greatest of all sorrows:
Having no one to feel saudade for;
To go by life without living.
The greatest of all sufferings is never having suffered at all.
